Craig Miller, DVM, MVSc Diplomate ACVS
Dr. Craig Miller graduated as a veterinarian from Colorado State University in 1976. He practiced in a private small animal clinic in Eugene Oregon immediately after graduation. An interest in surgery led Dr. Miller to pursue a surgical residency at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. After completing his surgical residency and Master’s degree at the WCVM, Dr. Miller moved to Guelph to accept a faculty position in small animal surgery at the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Miller was certifiied by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1987 and spent a total of nearly 15 years on the surgical faculty of the OVC. Dr. Miller’s time at the OVC allowed him a wide range of experience in many surgical protocols ranging from intervertebral disks to kidney transplants. His research interests centered around orthopedics and reconstructive surgeries. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters. Dr. Miller joined the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in 2001 where he is practicing as a staff surgeon. He accepts patients on a referral basis.
Devon Boyd, DVM DACVS
Dr. Boyd received her DVM degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2001. Upon graduating Dr. Boyd worked for one-year at a private practice and referral centre in Toronto, during which time she developed an interest in surgery. She then returned to OVC to complete a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at OVC. In 2006 Dr. Boyd completed her residency in small animal surgery at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic/Referral Centre in Toronto. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2007.
Brendon Ringwood, DVM DACVS Dr. Ringwood received his DVM degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Upon graduating he stayed on at the College to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine. In 2000 Dr. Ringwood completed a residency in small animal surgery at the School of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University. Dr. Ringwood is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
