Susan M. Cochrane, MSc, DVM, DVSc, Diplomate ACVIM (Neurology)
Dr. Cochrane received her DVM degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1982. After two years in private practice in King City, Dr. Cochrane returned to the OVC where she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery, followed by the DVSc program in neurology. In 1990, Dr Cochrane became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Neurology). She then worked as a staff veterinarian in neurology at the OVC from 1988 to 1992. Dr. Cochrane then joined the staff of Morningside Animal Clinic where she practiced for nine years. In 2002, Dr. Cochrane moved to the Veterinary Emergency Clinic/Referral Centre, where she is currently practicing as a clinical neurologist.
Debbie James, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM (Neurology)
Dr. James received her DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999. Dr. James then attended the University of Georgia where she completed her residency program in neurology. She received her board certifiication in the ACVIM specialty of Neurology in 2003. Dr. James was a faculty member in Neurology at the University of Georgia from 2003 to 2004. In November 2004, Dr. James joined the staff of the Veterinary Emergency Clinic/Referral Centre as a clinical neurologist.
Greg Kilburn, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM (Neurology)
Dr. Kilburn graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2003. He then completed a 1-year rotating small animal internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College. Following an interest in neurology, Dr. Kilburn traveled to Las Vegas to complete a 3-year residency in clinical neurology and neurosurgery at a private neurological center. Dr. Kilburn has published several textbook chapters and is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Neurology).
